-Mimics the band in size shape and granularity. -The N:C ratio is 1:3. -The nucleus however is segmented into two to five lobes. -The segmentation is defined by the presence of the tread-like filament. -Because of twisting the filament may not be visible. -If any doubt exists, always classify as the more mature (segmented.) rather than the band. |
