| Important notes: | Specimen must be received by noon for same day reporting. Up to two sequential bowel movements will be accepted. Repeat: negative in one week, positive in 14 days. Liquid or soft stools only; soft stool assumes the shape of the container. | ||
| Rejection criteria: | Leaking specimen, Unlabeled or mislabeled specimen. Hard or formed stool, swab and dry stool on stick are not acceptable | ||
