|
-Large RBC measuring more than 8.0 um in diameter. -Usually normochromic but may be hypochromic. -Those found in liver disease tend to be round whereas those in found in vitamin B12 or folate deficiency tend to be oval. -Polychromatophilic red cells are large in size but should not be classified as macrocytes. |
