This page is the index for waived test resources and competency assessment with three main links:
1. The waived test pages contain testing procedures and MCL policies concerning waived testing.
2. The Provider Performed Waived Test competency
assessment is a series of 17 images and multiple-choice questions. This
test is selected if you are responsible for both Waived Testing and Physician Provided Microscopy. When completed Print Out and
give to Physician in charge; test should remain in area to be easily accessible
to inspectors.
3. The Provider Performed Microscopy Procedures
competency assessment is a series of 14 images with multiple-choice
questions and is to be selected if you are only responsible for Physician
Provided Microscopy (includes Occult Blood). When completed Print
Out and give to Physician in charge; test should remain in area to be
easily accessible to inspectors.
4. The Provider Performed Microscopy “Wet
Prep” Procedures competency assessment is a series of 7 images with
multiple-choice questions and is to be selected if you are only responsible for
“Wet Preps.” When completed Print Out and give to Physician in
charge; test should remain in area to be easily accessible to inspectors.
